About Project : Double Seam Inspection System

This project aims to develop and implement a quality measurement and control system for can production. The system includes receiving and measuring values from a digital dial gauge, controlling with a foot switch, and measuring values at the Double Seam area. It also encompasses calibration, various reporting capabilities, ERP system integration, printing support, and remote desktop support.

Scope of Work


  1. Measurement and Control

1.1  Receiving values from a digital dial gauge to measure can height, countersink depth, seam thickness, and flange width. 

1.2  Control using a foot switch. 

1.3  Double Seam Measurement.

1.4  Measuring Seam Width, Seam Height, Body Hook Length, Seam Gap, Overlap, and Cover Hook Length.

  1.  Calibration

2.1  Calibration alert system for the digital dial gauge.

2.2  Calibration of the camera using a Grid Scale certified according to ISO 17025 standards.

  1.  Reporting System. Generation of various reports: Measurement Report, Calibration Report, CPK Report, Control Chart Report, Quality Control Data Report, Quality Control Graph Report, Quality Control Image Report, and Product Report.

  2. User Access Management. Setting access and permissions for different user roles such as Operator, QC Shift Head, QA Supervisor, and Admin.

  3. ERP System Integration. Integration with the organization's ERP system for data and production management.

  4. Support for printing through the server.

  5. Remote Desktop Support. Enabling Remote Desktop access for support and after-sales service.
