About Project : AI-Powered Breath VOC Analysis System

This project develops a system for analyzing and detecting volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from patients' breath using AI to predict cancer risks accurately. The system displays results in numerical and graphical formats, supports usage on tablets and mobiles, and features comprehensive reporting with both online and offline data storage capabilities, ensuring quick and efficient access to patient data by medical professionals.

Scope of Work

  1. AI Analysis Development: Develop an algorithm that can analyze and distinguish VOC patterns from breath to accurately predict cancer risks.

  2. Software Development for Displaying Results: Create an application that can clearly display measurement results in numerical and graphical formats for easy use.

  3. System Development for Tablet and Mobile: Develop an application compatible with both Tablet and Mobile platforms for convenient breath measurement and data access.

  4. Report System Creation: Develop a system capable of providing detailed and understandable reports of breath measurements.

  5. Offline Data Storage Capability: Enhance the system’s ability to store measurement results on the device when network connectivity is unavailable.

  6. Data Transmission Over Networks: Develop a system that securely and swiftly transmits measurement data over the Internet.

Project Achievements

This project has successfully developed a lung cancer screening device using breath analysis and artificial intelligence with the following key features:

  • Accuracy in Analysis: The system can effectively identify patterns of VOCs and predict cancer risk.

  • Ease of Use: The system displays measurement results clearly as numbers and graphs on Tablets and Mobile devices.

  • Fast Data Transmission: Data is transmitted via the internet, allowing doctors and relevant parties to access information immediately.

  • Offline Capability: The device stores test results locally when there is no network connection.

  • Clear Reporting: The system provides detailed and easy-to-understand reports, aiding in the analysis and monitoring of treatment outcomes.

The "Lung Cancer Screening Device Using Breath Analysis and Artificial Intelligence" project won the first prize in the "IoT and Data Science Inventions" competition for the general category, organized by Srinakharinwirot University in 2020. More details can be found at the following link: Link.
